The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Callbacks

Thank you all so much for auditioning for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! We had an incredible array of auditions and were so genuinely impressed with each auditionee we saw <3

Our dance call is TODAY (Saturday, January 27) from 7-9 pm in Farkas 303, which is an elevator accessible venue. Please note that this dance call is mandatory for those called back, and encouraged for every auditioning actor! Choreography will be a key aspect of our production, and this dance call is a great chance to show your artistry and personality, as well as your approach to the rehearsal room. Please plan to bring any shoes you are comfortable dancing in—could be sneakers, jazz shoes, socks, anything. Please wear clothes that you can dance in (i.e. not jeans) and water as well! If you cannot attend the dance call, please reach out to our choreographer and stage managers ASAP so that we can send you the asynchronous dance call details.

In addition, some actors have specific character callbacks from 12-4pm and 9-11pm today (Saturday, January 27) and 3-10pm tomorrow (Sunday, January 28). Please be sure to arrive ten minutes early to each callback.

If you have ANY conflicts at all with your callbacks, please reach out IMMEDIATELY to ALL of our stage managers, Em Barnes, Elizabeth Resner, and Nali Gone, at [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. If you have overlapping HRDC callbacks, please reach out to the stage managers of both shows in one email so that we can coordinate with each other.
