First, we would like to thank everyone who auditioned for Spring Awakening! We truly enjoyed seeing each unique audition, and are deeply appreciative of the talent and interest demonstrated by all of our auditionees.

Everyone who auditioned for Spring Awakening is strongly encouraged to attend our open dance call tomorrow (Sunday, January 28) at 10-11:30 am in Farkas 303, which is an elevator accessible venue. We recommend you wear comfortable athletic wear to the dance call, and bring jazz or character shoes if you have them; otherwise, sneakers are acceptable.

Individuals who did not receive character callbacks are still under active consideration for casting! Therefore, it is imperative that you attend the dance call, even if you were not called back so that we can continue to include you in our audition process. If you cannot attend the dance call, please reach out to our choreographers and stage managers ASAP so that we can arrange a virtual dance call. (Contact information is included at the end of this description.)

In addition, we have character callbacks for the actors specified below. Today (Saturday, January 27) we will have vocal callbacks from 4-10:30 pm for the characters of Wendla, Martha, Ilse, Anna/Thea, Melchior, and Moritz in Farkas 203. Please consult the Google Drive linked at the end of this paragraph to find the relevant vocal excerpts for Saturday callbacks. The music directors will be reviewing and teaching the excerpts during the first part of the callback, but please be sure to review the songs on your own first.

Tomorrow (Sunday, January 28) we will have acting callbacks from 1-2:15 pm for all adult characters; those who are called back are specified below. You can find the relevant script excerpts in the Google Drive, but you are not expected to memorize them. We will have printed copies of the script excerpts, but you are welcome to read off an iPad, tablet, or print them yourselves.

Finally, we will have second round callbacks for the roles of Wendla, Martha, Ilse, Melchior, and Moritz tomorrow from 2:15-7 pm in the Loeb Dance Studio. We will inform actors if they received a second round callback by 11:59 pm tonight. Further information regarding second round callbacks will be given to the eligible actors at their first round callbacks later today.

Please plan to arrive at callbacks 5-10 minutes before they are scheduled to begin.
